Old-school heart, new-school glow

Everything you'd hope for

Twelve skills

Attack, Strength, Defence, Hitpoints, Prayer, Woodcutting, Firemaking, Fishing, Cooking, Mining, Smithing and Crafting, all on the classic XP curve. Chop a willow, light a fire, cook your catch.

Attack Strength Defence Hitpoints Prayer Woodcutting Firemaking Fishing Cooking Mining Smithing Crafting

The Grand Bazaar

A real player-driven economy. Shops restock, banks wait in every town, and the Grand Bazaar in Varrow matches buy and sell offers even while you're offline. Everything you gather can be sold, and players set the prices.

Trade & socialise

Swap gear face to face on a two-step trade screen. Chat in classic yellow overhead text, send private messages, keep a friends list, hang out in clan chat, and /wave, /dance or /bow at passers-by.

Quests

Help Lumbrook's frazzled cook in The Cook's Request, then travel to the bamboo grove for The Tiger's Sorrow and face Sorrowclaw, the white tiger of the clearing.

A living world

A day passes every 40 minutes. Each region has its own weather: rain, storms, fog, desert sandstorms and falling ash. Dynamic lights, bloom, god rays and fireflies make every corner worth a screenshot.

Made for iPhone

Tap to walk, long-press for every option and enjoy the steady 600 ms tick. Play in landscape or portrait. The HUD tucks away so the world stays in view.

Play it your way

Hearthvale is designed for a phone from the ground up, not squeezed down from a PC. Turn your iPhone sideways for a wide view, or play one-handed in portrait on the bus.

  • Tap the ground to walk, or tap people and things for their main action.
  • Press and hold for the full option menu: examine, trade, attack and more.
  • 28-slot backpack, bank, equipment and skills one tab away.
  • Bronze to rune. Smith your own gear, or buy it from another player.
